SuperEnalotto FAQs

Do I have to match the SuperEnalotto numbers in the exact order that they were drawn?

It’s not necessary to match the numbers in the exact numerical order they are drawn. Any order is good.

All numbers are drawn randomly at each draw. After the draw, the numbers are arranged in numerical order for your convenience as they appear on your ticket.

How many numbers do they use in SuperEnalotto?

There are ninety numbers to pick six main numbers from. There is also an extra number called the ‘Jolly’ (bonus) number given to players that matched five winning SuperEnalotto numbers for their chance to win the second biggest prize.

SuperEnalotto changes over the years.

This Italian lottery was originally called the ‘EnaLotto’ until it was changed to SuperEnalotto in 1997.

Originally, all the Italian lotto winning numbers were picked from the winning numbers drawn in other regional lottery games. The Jolly number used to be taken from the Venetian lottery game but in 2009 this changed as all SuperEnalotto numbers were generated independently.
