Sports Frequently Asked Questions

How can I place a Sports bet?

You need to have an active account with a positive balance (Cash or Sports Bonus).

  • Log in to your account
  • Click on the ‘Sports’ page
  • Then select a sports type
  • Select the country and type you want to bet on
  • Choose a league to bet on
  • You can also select the game or event and the market
  • Your bet made of your selection(s) will appear on your ‘Betslip’

You can then enter your stake or bet value and click on ‘PLACE BET’

How can I search for a bet?

On the top left of the Sports page, you will see a Search box where you can enter a team name or a betting market.

What if my bet isn’t offered?

While hundreds of betting markets are offered on many types of sport, some markets may be unavailable.

How do I get my winnings from bets I’ve won?

Winnings are credited to your balance as soon as the bet is settled.

What is sports betting ‘Odds’?

“Odds” refer to the chances of winning by correctly predicting the winner or outcome of a betting market. Odds measure how much you can win by how much you bet and are higher if the chances of your bet winning are lower – or are lower if the chances of your bet winning are higher. This means that you could win more on a high-odd bet for the same stake or bet size as the chances of that outcome are lower.

What is a ‘Stake’ in betting terms?

A ‘stake’ is the money played or used to place a bet for a possible win. If you place a bet of $10, your bet size or stake is $10. For example, if you place a stake of $10 on a bet at odds of 4 (or @ 4.00), you will win four times your bet (you get $40 off a $10 bet at odds of 4).

Where can I see my sports bets and/or results?

To see your bets and betting transactions:

  • Log into your account
  • On the Sports tab select ‘My Bets’ and at the Betslip section you will see your placed bets
  • Open bets (these are unsettled and active) are listed in ‘Open Bets’
  • Under the ‘My Account’ drop-down arrow you can select a full ‘Transaction History’
  • Your transaction history won’t list full bet details, but does show your key activity including sports bets

To see the results of your sports bets:

  • Log in to your account
  • On the Sports page, you can select ‘My Bets’ under the Betslip section within the ‘Open Bets’ section
  • Your ‘Bet History’ section gives a full breakdown of your settled bets including wins and losses
  • You can also see all your stakes and payouts which will match the relevant transactions in dated order of your transaction log

When could sports bet winnings not be shown?

Winnings are automatically added to your wallet only after all the selections on your ticket/bet have been concluded. Allow up to 24 hours from the settlement of all markets in your bet for winnings to appear.

What is a minimum amount for sports bets?

The minimum amount to place a bet is highlighted as “Min” and depends on your region or currency. You will receive an error message if you bet size is too small.

Can I cancel a sports bet?

You cannot cancel your bets and need to take care in placing bets. Don’t allow anyone to access your personal betting account.

What is ‘Cashout’?

‘Cashout’ does not refer to withdrawals. It is a product that allows you to receive an adjusted payout on your bet before the outcome of the bet is known. This option is sometimes available before your bet is settled and if your bet is eligible for Cashout (not all bets are), this will be indicated. Only bets placed with your Cash balance are eligible for Cashout – you won’t have the ability to Cashout a bet placed using your Sports Bonus. Please note that Cashout is never guaranteed and isn’t always available on all bets.

What is a ‘Payout’?

A ‘Payout’ is what you win on a sports bet including your stake (unless you use a Sports Bonus to bet with in which case your winnings won’t include the free bonus/stake) and is clearly listed on your Betslip when you have placed your bet.
The ‘Total Potential Payout’ noted on your betslip is the amount you can win if all the selections on your Betslip are correctly predicted.
If you place your bet with cash, your Payout is displayed as your winnings and includes your bet stake.
If you place your bet with a Sports Bonus, your Payout is displayed as your winnings without your bet stake.

How can I see bets that are eligible for ‘Cashout’?

To view bets that qualify for Cashout, go to the sports homepage and click on the ‘My Bets’ section to see your ‘Open Bets’ – under the heading you can toggle the option to ‘Show only cash out bets’.

Cashout is only available and offered for bets placed with a Cash balance; not all bets are eligible for Cashout. Only those that display a button for Cashout after placement can be cashed out.

What is a minimum and maximum bet amount for a sports bet?

The minimum and maximum bet amounts depend on your currency and account. You will receive a bet placement error message if the transaction is too low or too high.

What is the maximum payout/winning amount for sports bets?

The maximum winning amount does depend on your individual currency and account.
You will receive the error message ‘Maximum Payout Reached’ if it needs adjustment.

Why could a selection on my ticket/bet be voided?

If the event did not play out or happen due to various reasons (bad weather, player injuries, etc.) it could be voided and your bet/stake will be refunded.

Where can I see my Sports Bonus?

To view your Sports Bonus, log in to your account and click on the Balance drop-down arrow to see your total balance.

What is the ‘Sports Bonus’?

A Sports Bonus can be used to place sports bets if the odds are over 1.4 and if your Sports Bonus balance is equal to or bigger than your bet size.

How can I use my ‘Sports Bonus’?

Your ‘Sports Bonus’ can be used on sports bets on the ‘Sports’ tab where all odds within the bet are over 1.4 and your stake/bet size is less than or equal to your balance. You select the bet as normal and, if eligible, your bet will be placed using all or part of your ‘Sports Bonus’ balance.

The ‘Stake’ size value is then deducted from your balance and your possible winnings are displayed in your ‘Open Bets’ tab. If you try to place a bet that exceeds your ‘Sports Bonus’ balance or at odds of 1.4 or less, the bet will be placed from your ‘Cash’ balance if that balance is high enough.  Even if the combined odds of a ‘Multi-Bet’ are over 1.4, if any portion of a bet has odds of 1.4 or less, you can’t use that ‘Sports Bonus’ balance for such bets.  All odds/sections of the bet placed (even if a Multi-Bet) need to be over 1.4.

What happens if a stake size is bigger than my ‘Sports Bonus’ balance or if I attempt to use my ‘Sports Bonus’ on low odds?

If you attempt to place a bet using your ‘Sports Bonus’ balance at odds of 1.4 or less, your ‘Cash’ balance will be used for that bet if you have a large enough balance. Your winnings will have the stake added in the calculation and payout if won. Your bet will then not be listed as a ‘Bonus’ bet and you can see the potential payout amount will be larger than if placed using a Sports Bonus amount.  If you have Cash balance available if you place a Sports Bet for an amount larger than your Sports Bonus balance, your bet will stand as if you placed that bet using Cash and you can withdraw the full amount on a win.

Are ‘Sports Bonus’ bets eligible for cashout?

No, only bets placed with ‘Cash’ balance are eligible for cashout so Sports Bonus bets won’t be displayed with a Cashout button, however, you can withdraw any winnings you receive on Sports Bonus bets as those winnings appear in your cash balance.

Can I use a ‘Bonus’ balance to place sports bets?

No, you can only use ‘Sports Bonus’ or ‘Cash’ for Sports bets.

If you place a sports bet and you have a ‘Cash’ balance, ‘Bonus’ balance and ‘Sports Bonus’ balance, your bet will firstly be placed using any ‘Sports Bonus’ balance if the stake size is smaller than the balance and betting odds are greater than 1.4.  If the ‘Sports Bonus’ balance is smaller than a stake size or the odds of your bet are 1.4 or less, a bet will be placed using the ‘Cash’ balance.  If you don’t have enough ‘Sports Bonus’ or ‘Cash’ balance to place your bet, you will see an error message prompting you to make a deposit to place a bet.

What are the full Terms and Conditions for Sports Bonus use?

  • “Sports Bonus” can only be used to place sports bets
  • A sports bonus amount can be credited to your Sports Bonus wallet and will be visible within the “Balance” under “Sports Bonus”
  • Total balance can consist of a Cash, Bonus, and Sports Bonus balance – the Sports Bonus can’t be withdrawn as cash but can be used to place sports bets
  • Bets placed with a Sports Bonus need to be at odds of over 4 – Multi-bets also need all legs/bet segments to have odds of over 1.4
  • Sports Bonus can’t be used to buy lottery tickets or to play non-sports betting (casino/slot) games
  • Winnings from Sports Bonus bets are added to the Cash balance of your betting account excluding the initial stake
  • Cashout doesn’t apply to bets placed using the Sports Bonus – a winning bet placed using the Sports Bonus can, however, be withdrawn because your stake is deducted from the displayed payout and your winnings will appear in your cash balance
  • Sports Bonus can’t be used in combination with cash to place bets (single or multi-bet): if your Sports Bonus balance doesn’t cover your stake size, placement will be rejected unless you have a large enough cash balance
  • In-play singles or accumulators/multi-bets can be placed using Sports Bonus if they meet the required odds and if the Sports Bonus balance is equal to or less than the bet size
  • In case of a void/cancelled bet/tie/draw bet, or any bet where the outcome can yield a partial win, the Sports Bonus will be refunded to your Sports Bonus
  • The maximum cash win/pay-out on a Sports Bonus bet is capped at €200/$208/CA$277/R$1,110/₹17,000

Terms and Conditions apply – for complete information, please see General Terms and Conditions

Can I withdraw sports winnings?

Winnings from Sports can be used as cash on your account and can be used to place further wagers on any of the games. Winnings can also be withdrawn if they meet the minimum withdrawal criteria.

What can the reason be for non-placement of a bet?

If you don’t have sufficient funds you must top up your account; if odds moved while you were placing the bet, you may need to refresh your bet; or if a market has been suspended due to unforeseen events (such as a cancellation), your bet may not be placed. In the case of a bet being voided or cancelled, your stake will be refunded.

What happens if a betting event is postponed or cancelled?

If an event is cancelled, all bets are automatically voided. Depending on the specific event and market, bets may still be valid on postponed events if the outcome will simply be delayed. If one market of a multi-bet is cancelled/voided, the bet will still stand either with one less selection or as a single bet.

What is a Single?

A single is a bet that you place on a single outcome of an event or market. For example, if you bet on a team to win the match.

What is a Multi-Bet?

If a bet made up of 2 or more selections in one bet the bet is known as a Multi; and if one selection within that bet loses, the whole multi-bet is declared a losing bet. For a multi-bet to be deemed a winner, all selections must win. You usually win more when you place a successful multi-bet at higher odds though the chances of winning are lower for a multi-bet than a single bet with just one of the outcomes.

I placed a multi-bet and one of the selections are postponed, what happens to my bet?

If the selection that has been postponed does not replay soon, that selection will be voided or cancelled, and your bet will have one less selection. A 3-fold bet can become a double. This rule does not apply to tennis bets as matches are rescheduled and bets will stand until the match is played.

Do sports odds change on the same market?

Yes, odds can change as soon as the possible outcome of a bet is affected but once your bet is placed, the odds at the time of placement stand unless you opt to accept changes. If you place a same bet later, odds may have changed if the outcome of a result was affected, though your bets will stand at the quoted rate at the time of placement unless you accept odds movements. For in-play bets, if goals/points are scored and the chances of one team winning increases, odds can change.

Where can I see placed sports bets and winning information?

In the ‘My Bets’ section of the Sports section, you can click through to see unsettled bets where they are listed under ‘Open Bets’ – and your settled bets with their outcomes are listed under ‘Bet History’.
