How to play Oz Lotto:

No bonus numbers are required to be selected in the Oz Lotto game, which makes it relatively straightforward to enter into. Simply choose 7 (seven) numbers from a possible 45, and you're done - it's really that easy.

Scoring a perfect number match up during the game's live draw shows will see you scooping up a jackpot prize win; but in order to maximise players' winning potential, the game will also draw a further two balls. These are known as the 'Supplementary Numbers' (which you do not need to select) and are drawn in order to create additional prize tiers in which players can place.

Rollover information / Jackpot Prizing:

The Oz Lotto game sports a guaranteed minimum jackpot prize of AUD$2,000,000; and if a top prize tier win isn't claimed, the jackpot prize has the ability to roll over consecutively up to 25 times - which could quite easily result in a nine-digit jackpot prize win (over AUD$100,000,000).

If the jackpot still doesn't get claimed after the 25th consecutive rollover, the top prize tier will then forfeit the potential winnings; which will then be automatically rolled down to the second prize tier and be divided amongst the players fortunate enough to place within this division.

Biggest Oz Lotto Jackpot

Australia’s biggest lotto jackpot of all time had four winners who shared in $100 million in November 2012. The winners, located in Victoria, Queensland, and the ACT, won over $27 million each including prizes in minor division.

The second biggest Oz Lotto jackpot was $90 million. Two lotto players from Queensland and South Australia took home over $50 million each thanks to minor division prizes in the June 2009 draw.

The third highest jackpot win was $75 million, and three three lucky winners located in New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia took a share worth $25 million each.
