Mega Millions winners yet to come forward

There were three outright winners in Friday's historic MegaMillions draw, but all three of them are yet to come forward.

MegaMillions jackpot frenzy

We reported on Saturday that there was at least one jackpot winner, hailing from somewhere in Baltimore County, Maryland. It's now known that there were a total of three jackpot matching tickets, the last two from Kansas and Illinois.

The jackpot prize they will be sharing is now fixed at $656 million.

There were also a total of 161 second prize tier winners, each claiming a cool $250,000*.

Feel good stories

As with any major lottery, there's always a fair share of warm-hearted tales that emerge after the big draw. The Daily Mail reported on a donut salesman from Whittier, California, who resigned just an hour after realising he had won $228,000.

He told the press he plans to return to his home country of Guatamala and open a restaurant.

He's not the only one happy with a happy story to tell. The store where he purchased his ticket stands to receive $1,100, which equates to 1% of the winnings (not deducted from the winner's takings).

No Reason to be sad

What makes great is its spread of fantastic world lotteries. Right now the giant Italian lottery, SuperEnaLotto, stands at a fantastic €79,900,000. Players feeling a little hungover from the MegaMillions madness last week need only look to Rome for another round of huge lotto excitement.

And if that's not enough to get your blood pumping, how about a bit of Formula 1 Grand Prix racing action? has just launched it's annual flagship competition, this year with a little twist. What was originally labeled the Annual Monaco Competition has now become The PlayHugeLottos Grand Champions Competition.

This year player have the option to pick their preferred prize of:

- A VIP trip to the exclusive 2012 Monaco F1 Grand Prix
- VIP tickets to the 2012 UEFA Champions League final
- £6,000 in cold hard cash, to spend as you wish, when you wish

Congratulations to all the massive Mega Millions winners and here's to all the next big winners at
