Let's be honest, Oktoberfest is all about the BEER! If money was not an option I would fly some drinking friends over to Germany and rent the floor of a hotel room for all of them. We'd spend the days sight seeing and the nights drinking very large lagers served by those buxom blonde womam with the pigtails!

I would love to take 10 of my friends to Munich and party like there is no tomorrow at the Hofbrauhaus.

Seeing that money is no option, why only have a 16 day of Octoberfest. I will make it a whole month of festivities. How does a month of holiday sound!!!!! All expens paid for.

Well, money not being the problem, I would take a hot air balloon ride over the whole seen, drinking beer all the way. At night I would have dinner in the stangest places, on top of the Brandamburg Gate, I would turn the Fountain in front of the Chancellors Office into one big beer fountain, and do a free for all thing, might even ask the Chancellor if she would like to join in.

After winning all 7 Lottos on offer by Playhugelottos.com between the 14th and 17th of September. I gathered my friends and headed for Munich on a Bombardier Global Express XRS to experience the Oktoberfest and celebrate my winnings. With limited German, and a Blackberry set on Google Translate we entered the first of the 34 beer tents at Theresienwiese (Therese’s field). The combination of free-flowing beer, a foreign language, new culture and the custom made lederhosen made for some interesting conversation and a wonderful Oktoberfest. The pretty young lady called Anna with the big jugs....of beer in her hands, put our beers down and tried to take our food order and asked: “Hendl (chicken)?”. My friends decided to make a mockery of the weird German food names with Carl saying: “Handel or Bach as long as it’s authentic German music. We are here to learn more about your culture”. She shrugged off the sarcasm and made another suggestion: “Bienenstich?”. No, I am not The Stig, but I have just bienen on the autobahn and in top gear most of the way replied Jack. “Weinersnitchel?” she tried again...I’d prefer chicken or beef replied John. Just when I wanted to make and end to the mockery Anna had enough and walked away... I noticed that the knot on her Dirndlgewand (dress) indicated that she was spoken for, and I was heartbroken. Nonetheless throughout the evening I tried to declare my love-at-first-sight feelings towards her trying to convince her that she must move the knot to the left to indicate that she is single.... My blackberry also had some beer during the day so I had to improvise and it all came out wrong when I said “Anna das ist knot good” ...she just laughed and said in broken English that she’d never go out with me, even if the knot was on her back (widowed). Needless to say, I was a real Sauerkraut from thereon. Although the sheer number, shapes and sizes of the other jugs....of beer, soon cheered me up. There were none like Anna’s. Over the 16 days we ate Knödel (potato or bread dumplings); Kasspatzn (cheese noodles); Obatzda (spiced cheese-butter concoction); Weisswurst (a white sausage); Schweinsbraten (roast pork); Haxn (pork knuckle); Reiberdatschi (potato pancakes); Steckerlfisch (grilled fish on a stick); Würst (sausages); Brezn (pretzel)...and after too many beers some of my friends ate their dishes twice... The last day we returned for “just one last beer” and an eisbein each... I saw Anna across the room filled with thousands of people, an oom-pah band was playing Drei Chinesen mit dem Kontrabass....our eyes locked, she smiled...looked down, blushed a little, looked up again and then went about serving the guests... I probably could have flaunted my new found billionaire status to ensure that the knot on her Dirndlgewand moved from right to left...but that wouldn’t have been love...but something tells me that the smile, the blush and the locking eyes in a tent full of people means a receptive heart. As we left, I heard a female voice shouting, wait, wait, wait. It was Anna. She asked my name, gave me her number, gave me a kiss on the cheek and said call me as she walked back into the tent. 4 hours later the Bombardier learjet took off, climbing rapidly up up up and away.... ...But I stayed behind, I have a date with Anna tonight. Funny, Exciting and romantic... I win! Prost!!!

I can organise a competition during the Oktober fest; the competition can be to run 5 km first, after crossing finishing line you have to go straight to a tank of beer where you have to drink a biggest quantity of beer which is in in a 20 liters'tank of beer in 1 minute! The reward is to win a 1 week luxury trip to Hawaï for 4 peolpe!First class in the plane, living in a 5 stars hotel in Hawaï with free access to all services that the hotel provide, drinking expensive drinks and tasted caviar. I pay for all and they get real pocket money. After the party start for all those who participate in the competition; i take them in a trip on big yat in ocean where there is a VIP strip club; all those who lose in the copmetition can drink only beer and eating saucage "hahaha" but enjoying a strip show in the second class of the club on the yat. While The winner is sitting in the first class with 10 people of his choice drinking expensive champaign with caviar and eating expensive meals, there they have their own stripshow!Me i will be surrounded by four strip models, drinking champaign and having a Thaï massage. I advocate and practise sharing of joy and helping the needy. So if money is no problem, I will host the weddings of 16 pairs of couple, specially chosen and who have otherwise not enough money to afford a nice wedding ceremony, one to be performed on each day of the Oktoberfest, all travel expenses paid for, with nice gifts to the newly- weds, their honey-moon expenses paid and cocktail dinners to all invitees all the 16 days. But I will be simply a mute spectator as I am a teetotaler and pure vegetarian. What a joy and an exhilarating feeling that would give ! Will that day really come?

My Oktoberfest would certainly unforgettable adventure and fun! Together with my acquaintances package we chose to Germany a few days before the holiday to visit the popular places of the country, talk to the people of this world, what they think about it. On Christmas day I rented a large area of the huge number of people. I organized his own party on a rented premises. The entire organization, of course, would cost a lot of money, but since those are not an obstacle to work. Oktoberfest party at my entrance would have all men. Beer poured in torrents to the traditional pint of special ceramics. Bavarian delicacies would be to choose the color - shank, chickens, pigs or Stockfisch - baked fish on a stick. Without all these often highly salted foods, beer will be tasted so good! I also took care of security events and limit individuals to prevent the tragedy as it was last place in the parade of love. For big thrill I prepared a wonderful show associated with the celebration of beer. Do not run out the fireworks shows, many quizzes on knowledge about beer, good music, hymns, and contests for the waitresses, which counts the number of transferred once, liter mugs of beer. Marathon events, of course, would last 16 days. After this time, each participant received a souvenir of the fun that one could happily reminisce about the time spent in the company of smiling, happy people. In my memory of such an experience would be for life.

I would take my husband and 4 closest friends with me to Germany, but not by learjet (as that is just bragging) just a normal plane with 1st class tickets. We would all experience everything together (the same way we have been doing for the last 24 years). Imagine that having such great friends for so many years. This is something that we have been discussing for a while and now that money is not a problem we can at long last experience it!! We don't have to wait another 20 years to retire to do this. Amazing. I will spoil everybody and let them stay in the finest hotels, we will dine at the finest restaurants and will do all the sightseeing that we only get to see on Discovery Channel. We will participate, celebrate and enjoy the Oktoberfest from day 1 right through to the end (especially as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity). We will record this whole event and once we return to our lovely country of South Africa we will send Discovery our version of a true celebration of the Oktoberfest.

Munich, with its beautiful buildings and parks and wonderful restaurants, just the place for a fully fledged Zulu invasion, with a group of my friends, in full traditional wear, dancing in the street, offering our very own Umquombothi (celebration liquor) from calabashes, to make this a truly international festival. You may not think this is very funny, but just wait till you taste Umquombothi!
